Elizabeth Gillies was born in New York City. The actress is an American actor and singer. She is popularly known as Lucy from the Nickelodeon sitcom Victorious as well as Jade West for the musical 13. She began her career in commercials. In her early years as a child actor, she played in numerous films like Babel (2006) The The Curious Case of Benjamin Button 2008 and Phoebe in Wonderland 2008. In 2010 she was nominated to the Critics Choice Movie Awards for most promising young actor for her performance in Sofia Coppola's Somewhere. Her appearance on Super 8 as the main role earned she the Spotlight Award for the Hollywood thriller Festival. She played the title role of the title character in We Bought a Zoo, Ginger & Rosa and Maleficent.
