Bella Poarch

Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on the 9th of February 1997 to her biological Filipino parents. She was adopted when she was three by her maternal grandmother living in slums. The parents she adopted are American white with military training as well as her mother who is Filipino. Her mother claims that she and her brother who was adopted as an infant, suffered abuse until they enlisted. In order to move to Texas after she reached 13her family stayed for many months living in San Francisco to stay with her Aunt. She says the physical violence stopped within a couple of months but that she continued to endure emotional abuse from her father. Poarch became a part of at the United States Navy at age 18. Poarch started her TikTok profile in April of 2020. Within eight months she had more that forty million followers. The account was home to a variety of videos, but her most popular hit was the video she made for MillieB's cult hit track Soph Aspin Send. An edited clip of her synchronized lip-syncing to the tune and jumping around into the song was a viral video that has since become TikTok's most popular video. To take advantage of the fame she gained after signing up to TikTok in December 2016, Poarch created YouTube as well as Twitter profiles. Poarch's rising fame peaked in the month of December in 2020. According to reports that she was the subject of two professional Esports team's interest. 100 Thieves and FaZe Clan expressed interest in hiring her as a content creator under their respective brands.
